What to Expect

We know visiting a new church can be intimidating. What should I wear? Where do my kids go? We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel right at home when you visit.

What type of church is Golden Gate Assembly?

Golden Gate Assembly is a church that mixes important traditional elements with modern elements. The fact is, our culture is changing, and we want to be ready to reach our community without compromising important values.

When and Where are the Services?

Our main worship service is held in the main auditorium, or sanctuary, every Sunday at 10:00. Services last about 75-85 minutes. We have reserved parking for our guests in front of the doors in the main parking lot. Enter through the doors on the side of the building, and a friendly greeter will direct you from there!

What should I wear?

There is no dress code for attending services at Golden Gate Assembly. Some dress casually and some dress up—it’s all good! You are free to come exactly as you are, so wear whatever you are most comfortable in.

What happens when I arrive?

When you arrive, you will be greeted by a friendly smile from one of our greeters. If you have children, you can check your kids into our kids’ ministry, Go Kids. There will be a countdown to let you know when service will start so you can be sure to get your seat before the service begins!

What is service like?

We start our service with a time of energetic, passionate praise and worship, with some instruction given in the middle. Next, we will share a few announcements about opportunities coming up at our church through video or live communicators, and conclude our time of worship through an offering. On most weekends, our pastor, Sean Reisenbuechler, will share a message. Our services close with a brief time to respond to God. This may include a song, prayer, or other response. Then we dismiss!

What about my kids?

Our Go Kids ministry provides an amazing weekend experience at every service. Visit the Go Kids check-in kiosk where our team will register your children and give them a name badge with a parent pick-up tag. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or special requirements during the check-in time. If we need to contact you during service, we will contact via text. At the end of the service, simply show your parent pick-up tag to a teacher in your child’s classroom and your child will be released to you.
